At Eyebrook Tackle Shop, we are experienced game anglers with over 40 years of local experience, so if you are unsure about anything you might need please give us a call and we will do our best to help.
For 2011 we shall be open Tuesday - Sunday. 8am - 5pm during the Eyebrook Fishing Season which starts on Thursday 24th March through to 27th November 2011. Where ever possible we will aim to offer you the best deals and prices available, with a service that we promise you ‘will be the best’.
A particularly popular service we offer is to load any fly line purchased onto the reel of your choice (we load up your chosen reel or spare spool with backing and braided loops free of charge) If you are unsure which line is best for your rod or where you fish call us or email and we will reply with all the advice we can offer.

Our stock the fly rods and reels include the popular range of Greys fly rods and Greys fly fishing reels, which for 2011 introduce the NEW XF2 and XF2 Streamflex fly rods as well as the popular GRXi+,GS2 and GS ranges plus the all new GX range of fly reels.
In 2010 our best selling Hardy fly rod was the Demon range followed closely by the Uniqua range, with its easy middle to tip action it proved popular with both beginners’ and the more experienced angler.
Our best selling premium floating Trout fly fishing lines in 2009 and 2010 were the Rio Gold Fly Lines closely followed by the Rio Grand Fly Lines now becoming just as popular as it is designed for the more faster action rods that the modern day Stillwater angler requires.
We also have our own RUTLAND FLY LINES range, which over the years are still as popular as ever, particularly the Hi Viz Floater with our customers north of the border. These fly lines are manufactured for us in England to our own specifications and tapers.
Last season was the year of the shooting head for the Salmon Angler with the Rio AFS Spey shooting head system our leading Salmon fly line. The Vision GT catapult rod range compliment’s this line perfectly and as usual if you are unsure which outfit/reel or line to choose, just give us a call or email.
From Vision the Koma fly reel has been our best selling disc drag reel for the last few years and the latest Vision Koma Kassette fly reel will no doubt continue that trend. We think that the new Deep fly reel from Vision will be a best seller, its a cracking reel at a very keen price. Vision also have the new Cult range of progressive action fly rods, a dream to use with light tippets. As usual we shall stock a comprehensive range of Vision Clothing and Waders, which over the years have proved not only terrific value for money, but offer brilliant quality as well.
The superb Wychwood Truefly Large Arbour fly reel range has been expanded in 2011 along with the luggage and bags, which have been completely re designed. During the season we shall have a series of Demo Days at the fishery along with a series of casting clinics with qualified instructors.
